Top ladies
golfer Danielle Masters and Ashford Town FC Manager Steve Lovell
were at the Ashford Outlet Centre recently as part of the
promotion of the Active Ashford Sports Partnership.
The partnership has been set up to raise
funding that will help with a range of events, from supporting
up-and-coming athletes and disabled sportspeople to getting local
people, of all ages and abilities, involved in sport.
Active Ashford coordinator Simon Harris said:
“This funding will give our local community greater opportunities
to take part in sporting activities as well as helping our aspiring
athletes to compete with the best in the world.”
Tanya Morris, Marketing Manager of the Outlet
Centre, said: “The Outlet Centre supports the work by Active
Ashford as we see the promotion of exercise as an important part of
community life.”
